ABOUT THIS SITE:

Our featured selection for 1999 is "The Placebo Effect" a murder mystery by RoseMary McDaniel.

Each month in 1999, we will feature a new section from this novel set against the backdrop of a midwestern pharmaceutical company's 100th anniversary celebration.  Office intrigue and herbal concoctions blend into the perfect remedy: murder.

Also still available is the featured selection from 1998, a 12-story cyber-book "Twelve Seasons of the Heart" which includes a romance holiday-themed story for each month of the year.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Fascinated as a child by the fairy tales told by her father, she felt an instinctive tie to her Irish heritage. From the age of five, she penned her own stories, but her series adult efforts were concentrated in Indiana and Michigan area historical writing that led to a local newspaper column "Climbing Your Family Tree."

A charter member of Michiana Fiction Writers and the Romance Writers of America, she is rediscovering the joys of story telling. The March story "Blarney" was published in the final issue of the short-lived but quality-oriented romance short fiction magazine: "Interludes."
